Born in Southern Virginia, my real name is Donna Pecherer, and I am a 33 year resident of New Mexico.  The Tower Lowe mystery novels grow out of my experiences here in the Land of Enchantment and my experiences growing up in Homeville, Virginia.

Each Tower Lowe mystery novel contains characters with disabilities: autism, physical impairments, mental impairments, etc. These characters are part of the narrative life of the novel, not the subject of the book. One of my newest works features Spree, a neurodiverse character who is a key member of a family detective agency. Silencing Sistine by Tower Lowe is in submission.

I have also recently completed the first in a romantic suspense trilogy. The book is entitled Let Me Out and includes a harrowing escape from an abandoned house by the physically divergent(!) main character.
